Visitors to Historic Brattonsville learn about the lifestyles and skills of early settlers and the workings of a southern plantation.  Brattonsville is a 775-acre historic site that includes a Revolutionary War battlefield where a 2-day event each July commemorates the Battle of Huck's Defeat.   On site is an award-winning Breed and Farm Program which includes the preservation of rare breeds of farm animals and an eight miles of natural paths.  Historic Brattonsville  is one of the Culture and Heritage Museums (CHM).
